Welcome to GiddyUp Portraits
Well now that winter is in full effect I've been expanding my art mediums to included painted feathers, these are quite a departure from the previous art mediums I've worked with and are proving to be quite difficult but its my hope that resulting artwork is very rewarding for both myself and collectors. Ive added my most recent feather artwork to the the main page as well as the crafts page and remeber to check back every now and then to see all my latest artwork. As always I would like to thank all those who purchased pieces of my artwork throughout 2011 and I hope they will provide you with many years of enjoyment.
I was recently awarded 1st Place in the Trail of Painted Ponies 6th Annual Holiday Design Competition in the Whimsical category and I hope to see the Trail of Painted Ponies "Spirit Of The Chief" become available in 2012. The International Equine Artists: Autumn Colors of Equus Art Competition has now concluded and I'm pleased to announce that my artwork entitled "Peeling Oranges" took the Peoples Choice Award as First Place. Thanks to all those who voted for my artwork, your support was very much appreciated. Anyone intrested in having ready to display feather art, for a limited time I am now offering them framed. You can see examples of the feathers framed here: Example #1 / Example #2
