This painting entitled Moonlight Thunder was favored by many winning the prestigious Gallery's Choice Award for 2008 and was the first painting sold once the gallery opened to the public. I hope the purchaser receives many years of enjoyment from this piece, I would also like to thank those who purchased my other pieces during the Calgary Stampede Western Art Show. I especially would like to take the time to thank the Western Art Gallery for this award and for the beautifully engraved silver belt buckle I received with this award. I will cherish this always. The prestigious Calgary Stampede jury committee for the third year in a row has chosen several original paintings for their annual Western Art Gallery and Silent Auction, which will be on display and for sale during the 2008 Calgary Stampede held from July 4th to July 13th.
